Will Brad and Angelina, ever stop trying to lecture?

I'm starting to get really sick of this pair. I do not understand why they feel that they have the right to preach constantly to us mere mortals. Yet again the subject is children, their views on which make me feel quite uncomfortable. It seems they now wish to adopt an older child in order to try and promote the adoption of older children and not just babies. Why are they constantly using children to make a statement, and why is it ok for them to pick up children from around the world like the pied piper picked up rats? Ordinary people have to go through amazing checks before they are able to adopt but if you are famous you can get literally whatever you want and use children to make some publicity statement, and we are supposed to think that they are such fantastic people for taking on these children, and for having their biologically daughter in a third world country in order to promote it. Maybe they could do with actually putting their hand in their own pocket and donate some money rather than lecturing the rest of us just trying to survive. After all one of their beach front properties would fetch millions, how many people would that feed....

RIP Aaron Spelling

I'm so saddened to hear of the passing of Aaron Spelling, a true TV legend, responsible for giving us the likes of Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place and Charmed, and although loads of people hated it - Sunset Beach (although I loved it!), he leaves behind a true legacy, if anyone dares to take it on. Best wishes to the family, TV will never be quite the same.

Congrats Nicole and Keith

A belated congratulations to Nicole and Keith (I've been busy!) on their wedding last Sunday, although it was a bit pathetic that they spent most of the event in tears - happy or not have a bit of self control! And also as much as I like you Nic, white really isn't your colour, at least not since you became so pale, I'm sure you weren't always this white, you had a lovely tan in Days of Thunder, anyway congrats I'm sure you'll be very happy

Heidi and Seal – the family expands

Congratulations to Heidi Klum and husband Seal on the announcement that they are expecting their third child (although eldest child Leni isn’t biologically his, but he still feels that she is - bless him!) a welcome addition to their family daughter Leni 2, and son Henry, 10 months. As lovely as this family unit seems to be, I can’t believe that they haven’t realised how funny their children’s names are, I mean Leni and Henry! I am sure that our British comedian is very flattered, I just wonder if they will call their next child Dawn!

Oh Britney – the last glimmer of hope has gone (or is it a case of saving face?!)

Britney Spears has opened up in an interview in the US and denied all problems in her marriage. The poor deluded girl has stated that her rat of a husband KFed has “a really big heart” and “cares so much”. I suppose she does show that she still has a bit of a clue when she states, “he’s very simple”, but still, I have high hopes that it is finally over, after all with baby number two due in August, if any of us were Britney would we really admit that our husband was really as awful as he was?

Kidman and Urban to marry on Sunday

Nicole Kidman has confirmed that she and fiancé Keith Urban have returned to Australia to marry this weekend. (it is expected to be Sunday, followed by a honeymoon in Fiji where Nicole has booked the entire Wakaya Club resort) and about time too!
The guest list is rumoured to include fellow Aussie and Kiwi friends Naomi Watts (who has already returned home to Oz), Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Baz Luhrmann, and of course the most special of guests Nicole’s children 13 year old Isabella and 11 year old Connor who flew into Oz today after spending time with their dad and Nicole’s ex husband Tom Cruise on his latest publicity tour. Generous Keith and Nicole have asked guests not to buy them any gifts, but to spend the money on donations to the charities that they support.
I hope that they will be very happy.

Scientology is spreading…

I’m scared, the latest celeb to come onto my radar as a scientologist looney tune is none other than Jenna Elfman! Good god is no-one safe? I loved her in the odd and quirky (and to be honest cheesy) Dharma and Greg, but now she too has been swallowed up by the faith!
Is there some sort of disclaimer that you have to sign when becoming famous to join one of these weird religious camps? Are they building up for one huge fight? That would explain Madonna’s recruiting desperation – I think that Lindsay Lohan has now also been lost to Kabalah – which explains her sudden dumping of BFF Britney Spears.
Honestly talk about a herd of sheep! God bless Nicole Kidman – at least she’s managed to stay Catholic!

Cruise control

Tom ‘delightful’ Cruise has placed Katie ‘naively stupid’ Holmes on a diet of low fat foods, vitamins and a rigorous cardio regime to get into shape for their wedding following the birth of their mysteriously never seen daughter Suri. He denies this, I believe it! How many more warnings does this girl really need?

Julia and Danny – the showdown!

Julia Roberts and husband Danny Moder are currently in a stand-off row about Danny’s sister Jyl.
Danny wants 40 year old Jyl to move into their spacious Malibu mansion but Julia is not happy about it! This turn of events comes after Julia refused, a few weeks ago, to put any cash for Jyl’s $40,000 bail for her 3rd drink driving offence. Julia, who has never got along with Jyl, has put her foot down and refused to help anymore, but Danny has been overheard saying that Jyl is after all his sister. Hmm, tough one for them both, but I hope that stop fighting, along with twins Hazel and Phin, they make the cutest family!

Why can't celebrities learn that children are not pets!

So Angelina Jolie has announced that she loves her newborn daughter as much as her two adopted children. Why is this supposed to be such an amazing thing? She decided to adopt these two little ones, and Maddox who is only 4 has spent most of his life with Jolie on his own, has already had a lot of change why on earth would she love him and Zahara any less after all they are both adorable and she is their mother, whether she gave birth to them or not. I'm glad and relieved that little Shiloh's birth has made no difference to her feelings for her elder two children, but I am saddened that she feels the need to announce it to everyone, just because they are adopted doesn't mean that she or they have anything to prove.

Holmes and Cruise – the wedding – you can just hear the cash registers clinking!

Finally the Cruise/Holmes pre-nup has been finalised, with Holmes to receive 33 million dollars as a maximum settlement if the marriage lasts 11 years – 3 million dollars each year, if the marriage last longer than 11 years, this contract will be null and void and the divorce would then be subject to Californian law where everything is split 50-50.
Mr and Mrs Holmes (Katie’s parents) were initially against Katie marrying mega loon Tom, but have changed their minds realising that with the situation that Katie has got herself in, there is no option but to marry him. It would be almost impossible to break free now with baby Suri, the Holmes’ are acute people, and know that there is no way that their daughter could financially outlast Cruise in a custody battle, therefore, she’ll have to get hitched so that she can fight him with his own money - Brilliant! Let’s just hope that she can maintain her sanity! Here’s to a long 11 years! What a waste.

Money really does buy you everything

Kate Moss has escaped criminal charges following allegations that she snorted cocaine last year. Apparently even though she was caught on camera, this is not enough evidence against her. What is the world coming to? I am also alarmed to hear that although damaging at first, following the incident her career is going better than it ever has before, obviously this sort of awful behaviour has given her some sort of global superstatus. Why do celebrities always seem to be above the law? It does seem – and I include myself here – that our ridiculous adoration of them has got to a dangerous level. It begs the question who will be the first celeb to literally get away with murder? I will sleep so soundly tonight!

Tom Cruise has topped the Forbes magazine list as the most influential celebrity in the world. Nice, real nice, just goes to show how dangerous and deranged the world is becoming!

The end for Zach Braff and Mandy Moore

So Zach and Mandy have split due to the age gap - her at 22 and him at 31, and she has slammed people for reporting it. Ok that is weird, living in the public eye unfortunately means that people are interested in your life my dear, and it is our money that you are spending! Commiserations after 2 (I think) happy years. But on the bright side it does mean that Zach is back on the market!

Apparently fellow (and only other remaining) Beatle Ringo Starr has stated that he will give Paul McCartney his full support over his break up with Heather Mills McCartney, even after criticising them and expressing fears for their 2 year old daughter Beatrice. Hmm, nothing against you Ringo, but looking for some free publicity are we?

God bless Jen and Vince

Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn are in London - my capital city- for the premier of their new movie "the break up", which I cannot wait to see. I saw Vince on Oprah the other day, obviously late as I do live in the UK and I'm sure that it was transmitted in the US ages ago! This was my first proper impression of him the person, I've seen him in a few movies and read articles about him, and I thought he was just the sweetest, nicest guy, so long Mr Pitt!!!
Anyway, back to the premier! Although arriving separately, Mr Vaughn again complemented Ms Aniston calling her "the best, very genuine and down-to-earth" - nicely dodging giving any real feeling in that kind of answer, but they do deserve their privacy! Vince is also looking quite slim at the moment, I had heard that Jen wanted him to slim down, but apparently it's because he's back on the ciggies again, well I suppose Jen can put up with the smelly breath after both her and the ex smoked, and you could put up with a lot worse to be with a chap as lovely as Mr Vaughn!

Hilton is sued

Paris Hilton is being sued over a motorway pile-up that she was involved in. She has been named legally responsible for a chain collision that took place in LA in 2004 when her teenage cousin, Brooke Ashley Brinson was behind the wheel of her Mercedes. Well I guess money can't buy you everything!

No engagement for Aniston and Vaughn

Jennifer Aniston has refuted rumours that she is engaged to boyfriend Vince Vaughn. There were ideas that they were engaged after she was spotted wearing a 9.5 carat, canary diamond Suzy Fabrikant ring but no apparently lets just leave them alone after all they are both lovely!

Britney makes a bid for freedom.

Britney Spears has signed preliminary divorce papers in a bid to get rid of that layabout Kevin Federline. It seems that the pressure from her family has finally made her see sense and she has realised that there is nothing she can do to save this marriage. If only she realised this before she had two of his children! But you can’t go back, and she will just have the make the best of the new life that she has ahead of her. Best of luck Brit!
